Spraying System Flow Rate

One of the most notable differences between the Agras T40 and T50 is the difference in flow rate, which directly impacts how much product you can apply in a single flight.

The T40 can spray up to 12 liters per minute. The T50, on the other hand, steps it up with a standard 16 liter per minute flow rate. Additionally, the T50 can be equipped with an additional pair of centrifugal sprinkles, increasing flow rate to 24 liters per minute!

With up to double the flow rate, the Agras T50 surely out-performs its predecessor.

Spreading Efficiency and Smoothness

While both the T40 and T50 AGRAS models have a max payload capacity of 50 kg, the T50 spreader introduces new features.

The new torque of the T50 spreader is doubled and the discharge hatch is enlarged to enable a flow rate up to 108 kilograms per minute. You can also switch to small hopper gates to improve spreading accuracy with a low flow rate.

Ultimately, both the T40 and T50’s spreading systems are impressive. They both offer real-time weighing, so you know how much of your payload is left in the drone. Both models are also easy to disassemble and clean for easy maintenance.

Improved Dual Radar

The DJI Agras T50 features front and rear Active Phased Array Radars with twice the number of RF channels compared to the T40, offering significantly enhanced detection precision.

Upgraded Signal Stability

The upgraded quad-antenna O3 Transmission system operates seamlessly even in areas without cellular coverage, providing a 2 km transmission range. Its enhanced anti-interference capabilities ensure strong signal quality, even when flying over tall crops.

Conclusion: Which One Should You Choose?

Both the Agras T40 and T50 are powerful tools for modern agriculture, offering high efficiency, precision, and versatility. Your choice ultimately depends on the scale of your operations and specific needs.
