Warranty and Repair Process
We are committed to providing exceptional service and transparency when it comes to DJI Drone repairs and warranty coverage.
Our team is here to guide you through the entire warranty and repair process. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us or visit our Lethbridge location.
Crash Cases
If your DJI drone has been involved in a crash, a technical review must be submitted. This review involves analyzing the flight data embedded in the drone’s QR code, which DJI will assess directly to determine if the crash is covered under warranty.
Please note: Pilots are expected to maintain hands-on control of the remote controller at all times and have a clear line of sight to the drone. This is a key requirement, as pilots must be able to intervene or attempt to intervene if the drone begins to descend or behave unexpectedly. Failure to meet this expectation may impact the warranty outcome.
If the crash is deemed covered under warranty, all damaged or affected components will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the client.
We recommend waiting for the technical review results to avoid unnecessary expenses. If the review confirms parts replaced or fixed prematurely weren’t a factor in the crash, the parts won’t be covered under warranty, leaving the client responsible for their cost.
If the crash is not covered under warranty, all repairs and associated costs will be invoiced to the client.
Non-Crash Cases
For issues unrelated to crashes, the warranty and service processes depend on the specific parts that need repair. We will assess the damaged components to determine if they are still under warranty. If the parts are covered, the repair will proceed at no cost. If the parts are out of warranty, the client will be responsible for the repair costs.
